Had a blast both days at the Faire! Loved all the live music, especially from Drew Harrison, Petty Theft - San Francisco Tribute to Tom Petty and the Illeagles. If you'd just add The Sun Kings, it would be pure heaven!
Great job by the city reducing single-use plastics at this year’s fair! What a difference! All paper or pasta straws, food and drink served in paper or reusable glasses. Imagine if every city made this kind of effort to insist their vendors cut out the plastic! Go Alameda!
❤👍🌷😍🍭🍬🌻🐱
oh we can take a break for a glass of wine around 3. on Park
Chilln' in the DABA booth! The Downtown Alameda Business Association that LOVES Artists! :)
Caucasian teen female on a red bike just rode by our booth and took one of our tank tops and then Sped off. Also had a thief take a piece of jewelry today. Keep an eye out on your goods, fellow vendors!
Awesome Iron Man 👍❤💪

Local ALAMEDA singer-songwriter Drew Harrison, one of those rare recording artists with the ability to translate life into song. His passionate, honest, and intense style resonates in the vein of Bono, Ritchie Havens and John Lennon.

He leads a very successful band, The Sun Kings, in the San Francisco Bay Area and currently performs over 100 shows a year both solo and with his band. Drew’s solo performances and his ‘In the Spirit of Lennon’ shows have yielded much praise.

As a solo artist he has performed in Europe, South America, and in the States he’s been invited to open for such artists as Richard Thompson, Lyle Lovett, and Steve Miller to name a few. Drew’s abilities as a multi talented performer have earned him fans throughout the world and his critically acclaimed solo release, Go it Alone, has enjoyed robust success.

In October 2010 Drew debuted The Plastic Fauxno Band who presented ‘Love Is the Answer – The Concert for John Lennon’ to a sold out crown in San Francisco. The two and a half hour Concert for John Lennon is presented as the concert John might have performed had he toured in 1982. It features songs from his entire solo career, respectfully performed by The Plastic Fauxno Band.

Somewhere among all of this Drew has found time for stage, TV, film, and completing a degree at UC Berkeley, adhering to a simple philosophy of living life fully, and giving back when one can.
