Facebook has locked Albany Eagles's page account. Albany Eagles will not be able to post what's going on it's Pages and FB site. Albany Eagles is trying to clear this up with the powers that be...but I don't think there is a human on the other end. 😣
I can post as a contributor on F.O.E Aerie #2255, but hope there will be another Albany Eagles Page soon.
Please pass this on to your Albany Eagles and FOE Aerie #2255 friends. Thank you.
The Grand Aerie has mandated that this club be run by volunteers as are other clubs, and we still need your help by volunteering at events, Friday dinners, and other times during the week. We need volunteers for cleaning, food servers, kitchen help bartrending, running charity drives, bookkeeping skills, cooking skills, maintenance skills, people willing to lead, just to name a few.
If you signed up already, we will be calling on you to help. If you have not signed up and you want to, please text or call VICKIE GREEN at 541-990-5639.
Please get involved with our club by attending meeting. We need people to help run the organization by running for office. We also need people to come eat and participate in functions.
Remember that dues are coming up and we want to keep this club going!!
Message from the Forward Looking Committee:
Hi Brothers and Sisters, we are finally progressing with our project. We have selected Gary Brown as our commercial realtor and Banz/Powell as our appraiser. The appraisers came Thursday 3/8/18 to the building to take pictures and measurements. They will provide their assessment in the next 2 to 3 weeks. We also had a walk through of a potential buyer.
There are rumors that we are closing that are not true. Our goal with this committee to to sell our current building and concurrently obtain another site with a smaller footprint and more energy efficient building, with enough space to be an event center. Our goal is to minimize any time the club will be closed between selling and transitioning to another site.
This year’s dues are coming up soon, be sure to renew early.
As a non-profit group, we donate to local and national charities. To meet that goal and make a positive contribution to our community, we need your help and participation in running and serving at the club.
