ONE WEEK ago, we put out an announcement that an anonymous donor offered to match up to $10,000 in donations through the end of the year. Well, we just sauntered on into the office today after a holiday break to and found that not only was the match 100% met on one week's time, but we have hit our end of year fundraising goal of $30,000!! This goal represents the ability to invest in new, participatory programs, resident ensembles, and open our stage to artists in creative development mode. Donations are still rolling in, which means better facilities, better care of artists and audiences, and an investment in the continuation of Ashkenaz for generations to come. THANK YOU for making this wonderful place possible!

This is what Saturday afternoon at Ashkenaz looks like. Many thanks to the teachers and students of our Flamenco and Indian Classical Dance classes for allowing themselves to be filmed. (Please, pleeease excuse the shoddy camerawork.) Check out the link in the comments below for a list of classes.
