Windchaser Wine Co

Very excited to have been included on this years list and with such great company. "A charming one-man show turning out beautiful, soulful wines." I'll take that, thank you very much!

Windchaser Wine Co is a family owned winery, producing hand crafted wine in small lots.

For the past 10 years I've been helping wine enthusiasts make their own wine or start their own wine brands. It has been a fantastic and rewarding career. I have thoroughly enjoyed sharing my enthusiasm for winemaking with others and assisting them in realizng their dreams. That said, the time has come for me to realize my own dream. Windchaser Wine Co is dedicated to the craft of winemaking. There are many types of wineries, all with their own marketing "schtick" and they all have their place in the market. From a marketing stand point, our hook is simple. We take the work behind making great wine very seriously. We make sacrifices, we work hard, we work late, we do things the right way, no matter what. But the wine itself? The wine is for fun! In 2015 we will produce, Pinot Noir, Grenache and Chardonnay (much to my wife's chagrin). A total of 500 cases between the three varieties. Thank you for "liking" us and stay tuned for future updates. All the best, Windchaser.

I'll take that, thank you very much! Listen From Santa Barbara to the Sierras, Humboldt to Temecula, California has wineries – and tasting rooms – at seemingly every turn. Now more than ever, you can count on finding solid, well-made wine at almost all of them. But with wine prices and tasting fees creeping ever higher, it can be h...

See you this weekend! There are now eight wineries in a two-block area in West Berkeley, with four others just a few hundred feet away.

The winery floor makes a great canvas for the kids of tasting room visitors. Each weekend a new piece covers the floor and adds to the collection. With time they fade and new works appear. I hope this one from 10 year old EEF (just initials ;-) hangs around for a while.

Amazing party in the winery last night. Congratulations to a couple of awesome tasting room regulars, Katie and Thomas, on getting hitched today. Cheers!
