Growler Orders Thurs, Fri, Sat again this week!

We added pickup times to our ordering to give us a general feel for pickup times.

Same lineup as last weekend:
Reserve
Thai Tea Saison
Cobbler
Printer Ink

The only thing certain during these weird times is that we have our #biddefriends and that we are in this together. Living true to this- our friends @stonefortdistillery brought us hand sanitizer to keep us all from spreading germs. Thanks so much for their kindness❤️.

Hey guys- just wanted to make it clear from our previous post: State of Maine dictates that we can only fill growlers from our own brewery. Please only select the refill option if you have purchased one of OUR growlers.

Sorry for any confusion! Thanks!

Today 2 PM- 6 PM

Printer Ink- Black IPA 🌗
Thai Tea Saison🍹
Reserve- Gin Apple Brandy Stout🥃
Cobbler- Peach Wheat🍑

New refill option in store- all refills are directly swapped with new growlers. All used growlers are treated separately at the end of the day to avoid any contamination.

Refills: There is now an option for growler re-fill and prices have been adjusted accordingly. We are doing direct swap-outs with new growlers. All used growlers will be washed and treated at the end of each day (stored separately from new ones) in order to prevent any cross- contamination. Please be patient and understanding with us during this process as we work to keep used growlers separate.

We are closed this weekend...

We are doing everything we can to get growlers to go for next weekend and will update as we make more progress on that effort.

Who would have thought it would take a worldwide pandemic to get Nuts & Bolts beer to go?

All humor aside, we know everything seems to be chaotic, but are hoping our little community can stay strong during this time.

For those of you wondering about the prevention response or impact of COVID-19 on the tasting room:

1. We will have no changes to hours for the foreseeable future.

2. Glasses are currently cleaned using methods approved by the State Department of Agriculture, which includes a WASH-RINSE-SANITIZE procedure. We will continue with this method.

3. We currently work diligently to wipe and sanitize surfaces, but are stepping up the frequency of these procedures to take all precaution against any spreading of germs. The CDC and EPA have a 7 page document of approved cleaners.

We’re a small, two person team. This comes with the advantage of making changes and decisions at a moment’s notice. We will be sure to update you if any further changes come up.

RESERVE 10%

This weekend we’ll be serving our newest beer- an imperial stout aged in Apple brandy and @biminigin barrels! This hefty stout leaves a light Apple taste in the mouth along with a gin and brandy kick.

In the center, the building with all the balconies is the old Crystal Arcade, later the Nichols Block. At the left is the Pepperell office, and in the rear are the Laconia boarding houses built in 1844 and torn down about 1912. We’re back this week with some new features in the tasting room! Swipe➡️ for a sneak peek.

A welding project that started as an idea in my welding class! (Thanks Mike L!) Shapes cut using the plasma torch (so fun!), sheet steel and angle welded using MIG. Thanks to Dad for helping me finish this one up and Mike and Deb for letting me use their awesome shop!

MIG welding features a wire feed and gas. I was least familiar with MIG going into this project so it was a great way to practice skills and learn more.

Can’t wait for everyone to see it in person! #diy #migwelding #womenintrades #lightingdesign @ Biddeford, Maine

Enjoying the first weeks of 2020! Cheers!

Small business Saturday!

This is building 10- a picture I snapped after a 12 hour brew day on a Monday. See the other lights still on? Those are our neighbors, who have been there as long as I have since early in the morning.

It’s like this EVERY DAY folks. While most of us have little retail hours or are never open enough, we’re still here working away to make things just the way they are for you to enjoy.

These are the businesses of Building 10. These are their stories. (bum-bum)

It’s busy this week but we want to make sure to take extra time to reflect and be grateful.

Today we’re focusing on the biggest factor that keeps us going- our friends, family, and fans. It’s ALWAYS the excitement and kind words from you guys that keep us going when times get tough and the exhaustion kicks in. When a face lights up after trying a beer or that bit of excitement at the news of a favorite beer returning- that brightens our day/ week/ month/ year. Your support means the world to us and we don’t get to express that as often as we’d like. THANK YOU

And thanks to @jenlegier for capturing this moment ❤️.
#smallbusiness #biddefriends #friendsandfamily

It’s this guy’s birthday tomorrow! Come in and make him pour you beer today, and don’t forget to tell him how awesome he is! Happy birthday Pat!

We have a special task for you this weekend! Drink a beer, and draw an elephant for us!

Why?! Some dude sent us mail and is requesting breweries to draw him an elephant! We want him to feel the Nuts & Bolts love so we are asking you to join! Check out his page @drawmeanelephant69420

Really, why?
It’s for FUN! Literally no point. Get the conversation going, draw a doodle, whatever. Just draw an elephant my friends, good or bad.

Can’t wait to see em’!

Our neighbors are making lovely pies! This pic captures a couple of pies from @cakesforallseasons at our personal family thanksgiving last year. We ordered THREE this year because they were incredible!

We’ve got order forms right in the brewery, or you can pop over to @cakesforallseasons insta page for an online form.

DIY Thursday! This week we are featuring some of our favorite unique tools to share with you all.

Pictured is a RATCHETING screwdriver! It featured slots right in the handle for all of your bits and makes hand cranking so much easier. We got ours at Duplisea Hardware in Biddeford. They’re family owned and an awesome local business! This model @kobalttools isn’t the exact one we have, but I left it down in the crawl space doing winter prep and it’s staying there until later this week #maineproblems #coldweather.....

Please share with us your current unique tools or DIY projects and we will feature them on our story or page!......📐📌🔩⚙️🛠🧰🗜

For those of you interested in the weld stuff, here’s week 7 and my first time using TIG! Super fun and more practice needed for sure! @ Biddeford, Maine

DIY Thursday! This week’s post will focus on what Patrick and I are doing outside of the brewery to expand our DIY skills:

Deedra is currently working on developing stick, MIG and TIG welding skills to enhance brewery capabilities and be able to build cool stuff in general!
On top of that she’s working on learning more about graphic design and the Adobe suite!
