[09/04/20] Sorry, the big Leesburg First Friday event is not happening 9/4, due to Covid-19 concerns. However, part of South King Street is closed down tonight for Leesburg’s “expanded dining program,” with the restaurants offering outdoor dining on the sidewalks from 4-10pm - every Friday and Saturday night, throughout September and October (until 10/24). Customers will not be allowed to congregate in the street and there’s no outdoor live entertainment, however, this fun outdoor dining program has become popular with customers visiting the downtown shops, while waiting to dine.
The Leesburg First Friday event that was scheduled for 8/7 is canceled due to Covid-19. However, this weekend and all weekends until October 24th, the Town is offering a new “outdoor dining program” which closes down part of South King Street in order for restuarants to expand their dining onto the sidewalks, from 4-10pm on Friday and Saturday nights.
Customers will not be allowed to congregate in the street and must maintain proper social distancing at all times. There will be no outdoor live entertainment, however, customers are encouraged to visit the downtown shops, while waiting to dine.
The Leesburg First Friday event that was scheduled for July 3rd is canceled due to Covid-19. We will resume the event in the future, but we just don’t have an exact date right now. We will keep everyone posted here on this Leesburg First Friday page.

Leesburg raised and long-time fan of our shop, she now lives in Nashville and is signed to a management and artist development deal with Warehouse West Entertainment.

Save the date - the next Leesburg First Friday is on 2/7/20, as the event takes place 11 months of each year and for over 15 years, we have always skipped the month of January, since it’s usually very cold and too close to New Years Eve, when everyone just went out.
Of course, the restaurants are still open on Friday night, so come on downtown and enjoy a good meal at one of our unique and locally-owned restaurants!
