Julius might just be the most aromatic hop variety we've found, with just tons of vanilla and orange flavor. This IPA has a sweeter finish balanced with big citrus flavor. Working on a few long term projects for the future. First, loaded some mixed ferm saison into @barrhillgin Tomcat Gin barrels! This saison is already exhibiting wonderful lemony flavors which have picked up some nice light botanical notes from these barrels after just a few days.

Second, we transferred a brand new pilsner into brand new heavy medium toast French oak barrels. While down in Charlottesville we picked up a few of these new barrels to make some oak-aged lagers and saisons. The beer will age cold in the barrels for an extended lagering period and be released over the summer.

Can't wait to share these beers with you all during better times. We'll reopen tomorrow for curbside pickup at both locations.

Hello everyone, this is our last day with our taproom and @senorramon open. Tomorrow on Wednesday we'll be switching to beer to go only at both locations with curbside pickup from 2-7 through Friday. Weekend hours TBA. Please enjoy some beer at home with your friends and family. Our taprooms and restaurants are closed going forward for safety reasons. Exciting Friday release! We've got a brand new one, Blue Raspberry Empress! We've wanted to try this variant on our go-to fruited sour IPA for some time. It's got a refreshing juicy sour flavor and is fairly limited, so this will go quick.

Next up is Virtue. We first released Virtue in 2018, after an extended time in barrels. This version spent even more time in @stonetowerwinery port barrels, and features an even richer flavor. With 14 months in barrels, this beer has deep red grape sweetness and tannins layered over dark chocolate, sweet fig, and caramelized sugar.

Today in Leesburg we will be tapping “Wishing Well” our dry Irish stout and we are teaming up with our Market station neighbors Wild Hare Hard Cider to celebrate! Starting at 2pm will have $4 pours of this delicious beer and Wild Hare will be serving up delicious ciders and some grub! “Wishing Well” will be a Leesburg exclusive this weekend so don’t miss out! Our Battle of the Bands winners, Unsullied will be playing a free show at the Sterling location this evening! Show starts at 8!

Friday release: Blind TIPA (collab with Dynasty) and Pyramid Scheme IPA. Blind is a massively hopped triple IPA we did with the guys at Dynasty featuring Ella and Zappa hops. It's very full flavored, with an absolutely huge overripe pineapple and mango flavor with resiny pine finish and thick body. Pyramid Scheme is one of our most popular IPAs featuring 100% Mosaic hops and that juice flavor you love.

Friday double release!!! First up is Blind, our collaboration with our nearby friends at @brewdynasty. Blind is a double dry hopped triple IPA made with Columbus cryo, Ella and Zappa hops. After receiving a massive whirlpool charge of cryo, this beer was hopped twice with a 50/50 blend of Australian Ella and U.S. Zappa hops. Grapefruit and tropical juice flavors abound, with a big softness and thick finish.

Second is Pyramid Scheme, our 100% Mosaic hopped IPA, returns. This version of Pyramid Scheme got an even bigger dry hop of Mosaic for big pineapple, bubblegum, and sweet fruit flavors.

Last weekend while half of our crew was in Nashville at @southerngristbrewing anniversary, the other half went up to Maine for @mainebrewers guild festival with our pals from @barreledsouls! We were honored to pour some beer alongside some great breweries from both in state and out and also get our beer out to some events in and around Portland! Friday release! After patiently waiting for this beer to mature in bottles, we can finally release our saison collab with our fantastic friends at @wheatlandspring! Herbaceous Spaces is a mixed ferm saison made with estate grown wheat from Wheatland as well as pineapple sage, pear mint, and lemon balm from their fields. We used our house diastatic yeast to ferment this beer in oak barrels and then bottled it with Brett C where it conditioned for four months, developing some serious dry and bitter Brett flavor and an aroma that is very reminiscent of herbs, particularly the kind that just got decriminalized in VA. We are super stoked the way this turned out!

We've also got a Wheatland Spring tap takeover going on at @nectarcocktailbar, showcasing: Test of Time IPA, Found Artifacts unfiltered pils, Farm Chores hoppy table beer, Long Shadows chocolate stout, and Fieldborn wild saison.
.
Our second release is Toast to Toast, a brand new breakfast Berliner. Made with huge amounts of strawberries, blueberries, maple syrup, and vanilla, this french toast inspired Berliner is the perfect accompaniment to brunch! LACTOSE FREE, too!
.
Our third release is Another You. Another You is an IPA extensively hopped with Citra and Comet hops. Juicy grapefruit, slight pine, and melon rind flavors, plus a full, fluffy body.

Sunday is for beer and tacos! Did you know any of @senorramon 's delicious tacos can be upgraded to a quesadilla shell? Pictured is the Super-Ramon, a blend of carne asada, chorizo, guacamole, pico de gallo, and pickled onions, along with a nice cold glass of our pilsner.
