Dashe was our first stop on a East Bay Wine Walking Tour Saturday, Jan 19, and it set the tone for a fun birthday celebration with great wines, remarkable service and an opportunity for guests to see working winery in Oakland !
Loving this wine with a simple late dinner on Lopez Island, San Juan Islanda, WA.
Hello: My Oakland High School classmates will celebrate our 50 year reunion next year. I’m researching a commemorative wine (either full or half bottle) as keepsake. Would you have any suggestions?
My name is Eric and I am the Product Technician here at MiniTrencher. I want to make your trenching needs easier than using a Ditch-Witch. We build a machine off of a Makita concrete saw. It allows the user to hand trench to either 16”, 20” or 27” depth. We have three lines of products. We have a small end 2 stroke, a 4 stroke and a HEAVY DUTY 2 stroke. Our machines have NO problem trenching through rock or cutting roots up to 3” thick. Our product is GREAT for installing root barrier and for installing irrigation lines along with the installation of electrical wire. The cleanup is WAY better than Ditch-Witch. With our trenchers, just take a grub hoe and push what little dirt is on the surface into the hole. With our machines, if there is a tight fit that needs to be trenched we can do it. The user can either hold the machine and trench with it or we have a kart that the machine hooks into and can be pulled. If you want to see one in action check out our page and you can see one in action. Our machines are also used by PG&E of California. We went through a year of safety measures for the State of California to have our machines on their trucks. Something we take seriously and are very proud of. We have safety measures that you can purchase for your new machine to give you the same piece of mind that the PG&E employees have when they use our machine. We use our own products right here in our warehouse. We have land that we test out chains on and use to develop new products. So with that being said, we know that our products work and what they can and cannot do. We also have a three-day GUARANTEE where we can get a machine into your hands and let you try it out. www.facebook.com/georipper www.minitrencher.com https://www.instagram.com/georipper_minitrencher/
Nice suprise to be in Kauai and find Dashe on the menu! I learned about Dashe from my banker at Umpqua on 24th Street in Noe Valley.
Seasons Greetings! I write to inquire when more of the 2016 Grenache Blanc, Monarch Mine Vineyard will be in stock. Please advise. Thank you!
Mama Foxxy had a blast performing at your awesome space! Great wine, great food, great patrons, killer vibe! (Hopefully killer band too). Thanks!

Alameda's Dashe Cellars will change your mind about Zinfandel | The Press

A big thank you to Esther Mobley of The Press for a fantastic article on our love affair with Zinfandel. "Dashe Cellars, a 23-year fixture of the East Bay winemaking scene, was turning out restrained, light-bodied, ethereal versions of grape varieties like Zinfandel long before that style was in vogue..."

thepress.sfchronicle.com Established in 1996, Dashe Cellars is a must-visit for any Oakland urban wine tour. The national family-owned brand set the bar high for urban wine.

6 Sommelier-Approved Budget Wines for Thanksgiving

It’s not too late to get your Thanksgiving wines! Stop by today from 1-7 to pick up a mix and match case for 25% off!

Dashe Cellars “Les Enfants Terribles”
“I’m a huge fan of Gamay from the crus of Beaujolais for Thanksgiving, but those have been on every magazine list for years now (but still: drink them). If you want to do something new and cool, find indie producers utilizing carbonic maceration and making lighter-style, aromatic reds, akin to the classics from Beaujolais.
This wine is light, pretty, juicy, and incredibly elegant; very unlike the usual version of Grenache you might be used to, but perfect high-acid, perfumed, lightweight reds for your turkey.” — Torrence O’Haire

thekitchn.com Great Thanksgiving wine doesn't need to break the bank.

This photo was taken by a friend driving past Geyserville last night, at the hills above the Todd Brothers Ranch, a vineyard we've been making wine from since 1998--our longest vineyard partner since we started Dashe Cellars. It's smack in the middle of the Kincaid fire, and I've been on the edge of my seat watching the ranch on the news, with huge air tankers dropping fire retardant all around the hills above the vineyard.

When I last talked with Ken Todd, he said the fire had jumped to the ridge east of the vineyard, and at that moment, his ranch seemed miraculously untouched--the fire remained to the east and the Todd Ranch was safe at the moment.

With the winds increasing tonight and blowing Southwest, I'm worried about what might happen, and all of us at Dashe Cellars want to send our best wishes to the entire Todd family. It feels like part of our own family in danger, and we hope and pray that the vineyard remains unscathed and that everyone stays safe.

Mike tasting from the barrel! There’s a lot of tasting going on this time of year and active fermentations at the winery. Come by for a tasting and the enjoy how amazing the winery smells this time of year!

GOLDEN HOUR tonight! Stop by the winery Thurs & Fri 5-7 for half off glasses of our featured wine. This week, Rosé!

Happy Labor Day from Dashe Cellars, where it’s not all barrel samples and fancy winemaker dinners for Mike and Anne.
